Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a confusing layout in the run-down catering area, and the broken room door was disappointing. However, the view across Rutland Water was lovely.
The hotel offers a mixed experience with clean and spacious rooms needing some updating, alongside a friendly and helpful service that was slightly hindered by staffing issues. The location by Rutland Water is superb for visitors looking for a scenic stay, although some dining experiences lacked finesse and organization.
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were quiet, with double balconies overlooking Rutland water, and once we figured out the heating, everything was excellent. The service was top-notch, and the staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. The location by Rutland Water was amazing, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The dining was plentiful and well-cooked, although the coffee was a bit tepid. Overall, a great experience with some minor room for improvement.
